1987 Mazda RX7 V-8 Conversion.
Chevrolet 350 Crate motor bored .30 over, 30HP, 60 ft lbs, ild cam, ortec heads, delbrock intake and 650 performer carb, /font>Mallory electronic distributor, edman ceramic headers, custom exhaust mated to Borla stainless mufflers, pipe, ower steering and brakes.
Modified Monster Transmissions crate 200R4 AOD with manual lockup torque convertor, :10 turbo posi rear and ½ shafts, pgraded to turbo brakes front and rear with new bearings throughout. Performance 1” lowered shocks and springs, ew tie rods and 4 wheel alignment, acing radiator, ynthetic waterless coolant, il and trans coolers, ingle stage urethane viper red, ew tires and wheels. Not quite 3K miles since it was finished in 2014.
Car disassembled including glass and trim molding prior to painting, nstalled new windshield, olding, ide window seals and glass trim.
This car is one of several used in the movie “last seen in Idaho” to be released later this year by Fireshoe productions.
Garage kept only driven in the rain once due to scheduling of the first movie shoot involving the cars.
Has won several trophies in the local car shows, ncluding best 80’s category last 2 years in a row.
Paint has yet to be color sanded and buffed but still looks really good.
Backup lights not hooked up and no cats.
