1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL SE Additional Info:
Amazing Car. Bought with plan to keep it forever but life happens. I have had a total of 7 RX-7's in my lifetime and this by far is the most fun to drive. Purchased in June 2019 from the estate of a 80's sports car nut. Title is in my name... Miles of over 241k due to owner having a long, over 100 mile round trip work commute so freeway/highway miles. Body is unbelievably straight. Huge Stack of receipts in hand. From my understanding, He was the original owner. Autocheck shows ownership of him from 1996 but no one before that since new. Per his family he was the only owner of the car until I bought it.
Cap/Rotor/Wires/Spark plugs all done within last 3k miles.Clutch/flywheel done about 5k ago.Good oil pressure...30 at idle 60 at 3k rpm.Factory Glass removable moonroof.Limited slip Differential.Power steering delete (optional on these, much more of a drivers car without it)Fuel Injected 13B engine.Has AFTERMARKET stereo installed.
Things I wanted to do and would recommend on the car:Shocks/Struts and bushings on front end. (typical)OEM GSL-SE Rims should be reconditioned/refinished (factory clear coat wear)Wear on drivers side bolster (typical with age and miles).Storage bin behind the passenger seat has a broken hinge (very common on these).
Highly collectible and with a little work, will be a stunner. Hate to sell it and hope it goes to a great home.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks.
Pic shows a trip permit on it. Has current Washington State collector plates on it.
