1985 Mazda RX7 GSLSE for sale, VIN JM1FB3327F0881064
112,000 miles which is original since this has a 6 digit odometer, title states actual miles. Very nice condition, fun to drive, the best year of the first generation RX7 with the slightly higher horsepower engine. I bought one of these new and drove it for 5 years, always regretted selling it, so I bought this one. I’ve had a great time with it, but it’s time to sell it now so I can focus on restoring my “college car” clone.
I have owned this car for 7 years and do not know the history of the car before my ownership. Since I have owned it, it has been stored inside at all times and not driven in the snow and rarely in the rain.
Exterior: Comes with three sunroof panels, two body color and the other glass, all with the original vinyl sleeves. It’s easy to swap them out if you want or don’t want sun/light. I added the aftermarket front air dam and rear spoiler and repainted the car soon after I bought it. The right front part of the air dam has some cracked and missing paint and the left has some cracks in the paint from when my ex hit a curb with it. There is a small scratch/crease on the hood in front of the driver. There are a few tiny rust bubbles just starting behind the rear wheels. The rest of the body and paint are in good shape. The wheels have a lot of pitting on them. The tires are 6 years old and have about 3,000 miles on them.
Interior: The seats are in excellent shape. It has the original carpeted floor mats which are in nice shape. All the carpet in the footwells and back hatch area is in great condition. The only bad part about the interior is the plastic surrounds behind the door handles; both are cracking/flaking, I don’t know if anyone makes these in reproduction yet (seems like they would be easy to 3D print). No cracks in the dash or other flaws in the interior, for a 30 year old car, this is a nice clean car.
Mechanical: Everything works except the fuel gauge; it reads much lower than actual, so I have always used the trip odometer to track when I needed to fill up again. AC works great.
You are welcome to inspect this car or have a representative do so, let me know if you would like any specific photos, thanks for looking.

I think I forgot to mention it is a 5 speed, I know I marked manual in the list of options.
