The good:
Well-maintained bones by former Army Apache Crew Chief; amsoil in engine ever since it was turbo'd (minus last oil change), tranny, & (open 1.6) dif; timing belt done ~50K miles ago; recent coolant flush after bringing it out of cold storage
Koni Yellows with Fat Cat upper mounts, stock springs (good height for street driving)
Greddy turbo with Trackdog Racing FMIC, BEGI AFPR, BIPES ACU, manual spring turbo boost controller, braided oil return line, 1.8 injectors, 8 psiHard Dog M2 sport with harness tabsFM sway barsFM frame rails and (uninstalled) butterfly brace)Enthuza 2.5 exhaustRacing Beat rear braceRacing Mazda 2.5 down pipeAluminum racing radiator plus BEGI coolant reroute (still not big enough to run more than 5 laps of Harris Hill in +100F w/o letting off)
Fresh turbo hardware; new studs, nuts, and bolts on exhaust and manifold sideCast iron manifold welded and exhaust studs expanded to M10 by Austin Machine and Grinding on North Lamar
Recent oil change (Mobile 1 from Costco to get it running and sold)
1.8 carbotech brake pads upfront with brackets to accommodate RX7 rotors
Blaupunkt Muchen radio plus headrest speakers
Sparco steering wheel (moderate wear)
Carbon fiber Ratsback Racing Front Lip spoiler painted black (uninstalled at the moment)
The bad:Not regularly driven for over 4 yearsFlat silver paint jobCar was hit in the back passenger side, cheap/quick bondo job to repair it (see pics)Needs new tires. Comes with 4 15" rotas plus 4 14" daisies. Daisies are on the back to allow for test drives. 14" wheels no longer fit on the front due to enlarged brakes. Some power steering whineCloth top with small hole, zipper separated from top, glass window must be held in place with boxes. The AC has never worked for me.
With racing seats, other safety hardware, and tires, this would make a great cheap track toy for Harris Hill. Turbo setup at this boost level has been flawless except for manifold bolts shearing every ~20k miles. This car is perfect for occasional track days and hill country runs with fresh tires.
