1989 Maserati Spyder Additional Info:
You are bidding on a 1989 Maserati Vin # ZAMFN1107KA331828 25,293 ORIGINAL MILES Our Family's Story : 1989 Maserati SpyderConvertible It all started in the early 90's living in Vancouver B.C. Canada. A friend owned two Maserati Biturbo sedans and offered to lend us one to drive. We had never seen one before but figured "let's give it a try." Well, as we "flew" over the Granville Street Bridge in this cool Biturbo, I thought we were going into flight "take off mode" or perhaps worse! We survived. No speeding tickets either. Flash forward to us moving to Atlanta GA in 1998. There are LOTS of fast, exotic, fancy cars in Atlanta. Soon we became the proud owners of a 1989 Maserati Spyder Biturbo convertible. She is a stunning "maserati red" colour. Black top with tan interior. We located an extremely experienced mechanic who only worked on masers/ferraris/lambos. The car was finally tuned to be driven as it was meant to be. I have to say one thing: this car was so much FUN for all of us, including our 2 young children. We'd drive around the neighbourhood bay (circular neighbourhood in family/residential type areas). Both kids would sit in the mini seats thinking they were the King and Queen. Lots of good memories and although not really legal- it was a blast! We babied that car. Detailed it like crazy. Maintained it like someone who is a little obsessed with dirt or dust. Now 17 years later, the kids are young adults. We are back in Canada. This car has been cared for fastidiously for 17 years. Next year this Maser will turn 30! She has never been out in poor weather. She has always been covered and garaged. She has basically lived the "life of riley" which means a luxurious and carefree existence. Must be nice to be a car:) We would love for this car to go to a new home with someone who treasures and appreciates Italian styling and is able to drive it the way it wants to be driven. From one owner to another new one: if you are the one, please look after this car. It is an amazing part of the Maserati family history and a pleasure to gaze at. Allreceipts/history are available and all parts come from MIE -Maserati manufactured parts from Auburn WA USA. Turns a lot of heads every time it's out on the street. The horn is old school---love it! Very European. That rumble....best described as magnificent! My name is Jim Higham and my businesses is storage of classic, antique in special interest automobiles. My customer has asked me to list this car on Kijiji on her behalf, I can arrange shipping and customs clearance for the buyer so it's no hassle on your end. Please contact me with any questions.
