I bought a few of these cars from the same guy about a couple months ag, and I bought them to get them running and them sell them along. It now starts from the key, runs well, drives and stops . I have not driven it far, but I feel I got rid of most of the questions marks of a car that has been sitting for 15 years. Interior is sprung.
Body is fiberglas, and perfectly rust free of course. Backbone chassis has ZERO RUST. IF you call me, I can provide more photos underneath vehicle.
This vehicle is RHD / Right Hand Drive, which is a pain in the ass if you want to go to drive throughs mailboxes/ etc.
Paint is bad. That is obvious. Car is mechanically pretty dialed in though.
This is a EUROPEAN VERSION with euro cams/ cam timin, EURO Dell'orto carburetors, higher compression engine, and much higher horsepower (165) than American version of this car / engine. Also has the European bumper, which look much better than the US bumpers. I have been offered $1500 and more for the bumpers, but I am not parting this car out, I am selling a cool, 4 seat running driving 1970s Lotus here, people! This is a high spec car for someone looking for one here in the USA
I have both power windows working on this car. Does not overheat. EXCELLENT oil pressure.
I can help have vehicle transported anywhere in the USA at buyers expense (I have vehicles shipped every week, coming or going, for their new engines we fit here, or I can meet you at airport and you can drive this home.
