Lotus Eclat

1977 Lotus Other Additional Info:

This car is an Eclat, ot an Eclat Sprint. It has all the features of an Elite except power steering. So that means AC, 4 inch alloy wheels, igger calipers and front brakes, pgraded interior. It appears to be a very low mileage vehicle. I have no way of verifying the 31 K except by condition, It is remarkably clean all over. The person I bought it from had stored the car for more than 20 years. The paint is very good and the mechanicals are as well. I have spent a lot of time and money recommissioning the car after its long slumber. Here is the list of recent work ( all in the last 18 months.)
New timing belt
Valve adjustment and new cam gaskets
New otter switch and all water hoses

gas tank removed and sealed, br>new fuel gauge sending unit

new rear brakes ( wheel cylinders, hoes, oses, djusters)

new custom car cover
Rebuilt steering rack
new upper ball joints
new sway bar bushings
rebuilt trunnions

Gear shift rubber boot
Complete retracting headlight rebuilt
new solenoids
new microswitches
new springs
new vacuum motors
all associated hoses and wiring
The car runs and drives well. The pictures tell the story on condition. Here are problems that I know about. Radio does not work. AC is an unknown, windshield has a long crack, rear windows ( sides and back) rattle and need to be resealed.
