1972 Lotus Europa Additional Info:
This car has hadsome modifications. It has been lowered front and rear, fender flares have been added to accommodate the STR wheels, 8" wide front, 9" wide rear, with 175/50R15 front and 205/50R15 rear tires. In short, it handles like a go-kart.
The engine is a 1600cc Lotus twin cam, big valve, rebuilt approx. 6,000 miles ago. It runs great and starts easily. The gearbox is the later model NG1 5 speed with a new clutch about 500 miles ago. Shifts well and the 5 speed gives it that extra gear for the road. Manuals for both the engine and gearbox go with the car.
I have some spares that go with the car. Milage is estimated at 50,000. Can't verify the number.
