Lotus Cortina RESHELL Roller Bodyshell with Glass

1965 Lotus Cortina Additional Info:

Lotus Cortina Reshell,

Please be aware that this is a Reshell, and I wish not to represent it as anything else.
The Bodyshell is a GT from California, that had its side trim filled, and painted in single stage paint, many years ago.
It replaced a rusted out body shell that was beyond repair.
Data plate indicates a November 1965 car.
Glass is in decent shape, there is a small chip on the bottom of thewindshield, the rubber seal should cover it.
There is some damage and chips to the paint, these do require attention. The paint is single stage, please don't mind the dirt, it will come off with some rubbing.
There some surface rust inside the doors, and some on the floor. In my opinion, nothing that warrants any panel repair, just sanding, or conversion and a coat of paint to protect.
Its on standard cortina wheels, with a standard diff, suspension is stock, steering wheel and steering boxare GT items.
Included with the body shell is a handbrake handle that is exclusive to the Lotus Cortina, and the battery tray and hump for the diff that was purchased from expressed panels in the UK many years ago, these have not been installed/welded and will need to be.
My intention was to make this a race car, it would be a solid candidate for someone keen on building a vintage racer.
