Up for sale is what has to be one of the cleanest, riginal Mark VII LSC's in existence.
We purchased this car recently as my 81 year old father seemed to think he needed it. Well, t is too much car for him so we are selling it. He needs to stick with his Accord. This is a California original, urchased new in the Sacramento area, er original window sticker. It spent a few years with the original owners in Placerville, eing used as a summer car to drive to Lake Tahoe and the surrounding areas. It was then sold to an elderly lady in Citrus Heights, till in the Gold Country. She used it for local driving, ut less and less as the years went on. From what I can tell, t has been garaged kept and properly cared for.
This beautiful car is in unbelievable condition. Never wrecked or damaged. Never abused or neglected. It has been senior owned it's whole life. I can say that it must have been garaged all the time. The things I have noted are as follows:
Steering wheel leather aging a little ( I hear this is common)Driver's seat has a little wear, ut still beautifulTop of back seat has just a little sun darkening of the leather, ut no cracks or hardening. Minor
Well, hat is all I can say is an issue. The car runs and drives beautiful. The A/C was professionally converted a couple of years ago and is ice cold. The tires are very close to new and wheels are as new, erfect. No aging, cratches, orrosion, othing! What was done since we purchased it:
New Teeves brake pressure switch (factory new)JBL radio sent to the leading expert for full restoration. Works flawless.Full service and inspection.
This car is stunning in all aspects. It is about as close to a new car as I can imagine. Even the original paint is beautiful. stunning interior. perfect chrome, tc, tc. Even has the original keys, rotecto-plate, eyless entry card, etal key fob from Ford, hat if you loose your keys, omeone can drop them in the mailbox and they have free postage back! And a bottle of the original Ford touch up paint. What can I say. Fully documented complete with previous owner's personal notes about car and window sticker showing Options added:
Anti theft alarm system- $225.00Power glass sunroof- $1,420.00Traction-Lok axle $101.00Auto day/night mirror $89.00Ford JBL Audio system $525.00
If you have been looking for a LSC, ith the mustang H.O. engine that is collector quality, ook no further. This is the car. I have only driven it a couple of times, ut I had several people stop and ask about it. Like I said, t appears as new! This car has not been professionally detailed. What you see is the way it has been kept it whole life (apart from my 81 year old dad wiping it with a cloth). We garage it. The engine and undercarriage are original and beautiful. There still is the factory Cosmoline protective layer on the engine and it attracts some dirt over the years, s you can see. But that is it. Under the car is unbelievable. I peaked under it during it's oil change and it appears new. No grease, il, orrosion, irt, tc. Even the original cad plated parts are still gold and the assemble markings are still there. It was very impressive.
Runs and drives beautiful. Extremely quiet and smooth. As far as I could tell, VERYTHING is working properly on the car. From the JBL sound, o the power antenna, o the auto dim lights, o the auto trunk pull down. Truly an unbelievable automobile. It simply is too much car for my father at this time. So, on't miss on this opportunity. This is become once in a lifetime. I have seen some beautiful Mark VII's on Ebay while looking for one for my father, ut they are always "restored", ew paint, ll new mechanicals, pgraded radio, tc. Not this car! It was one in a million, nd getting rarer by the day!
Please ask any and all questions before bidding. OPINIONS VARY! so if you would like to view the car, lease ask I will make arrangements. I have described this car to the best of my ability. It is a used car and is sold "as-is", ith no warranty. Please keep that in mind. Will smog check for California buyer. Currently registered until October, 016.
Thank you.
