1968 Lincoln Continental Additional Info:

Up for auction is a 1968 Lincoln Continental Sedan—the iconic suicide-door Lincoln that turns heads everywhere. This is a complete, full-restoration project that runs, moves under its own power, and stops, making it a strong candidate for the right builder who wants a classic luxury land yacht with huge upside.

Important: You can drive it onto your trailer and around the lot, but this is NOT a car you’re driving home. Currently running off a gas can and will require a full restoration.

The Highlights (Good)
  • Legendary suicide-door Continental
  • 460 Big Block runs excellent and starts on the first click
  • Automatic transmission engages and grabs all gears
  • New master cylinder + new front brake hoses (it stops)
  • Vinyl roof is perfect
  • Doors, trunk, and hood are perfect
  • Interior is in good shape
  • Complete car — already stripped down, and parts are bagged & tagged as shown in photos
  • Clean title
  • Both keys included
What It Needs

This is a restoration. It needs metal work—throughout the body and floor pans. If you can weld/fabricate (or have a shop), this could be the right project. Plan on going through every system, including but not limited to:

  • Fuel system (currently on gas can)
  • Full brake system inspection/service beyond noted new parts
  • Engine/trans service and verification for road use
  • Suspension, steering, electrical, cooling, etc.

In short: it runs and moves, but it’s a full restoration project.

Sale Notes / Terms
  • Sold as-is, where-is with no warranties expressed or implied
  • Buyer responsible for transport/shipping
  • Bring a trailer—again, not road-ready for long-distance driving
Bottom Line

If you’ve been looking for a real-deal suicide-door Lincoln project with a strong-running 460, clean title, and a head start on disassembly/organization, bid with confidence.
