1940 Lincoln Coupe Additional Info:

1940 Lincoln Zephyr 5 window coupe, has a small block Chevy mounted with the old style Hurst front motor mount with an old style transmission adaptor to the original 3 speed Zephyr transmission. Steers & rolls easily, clutch works & shifts smoothly, I had the engine running from a gas can in the trunk, starts right up & seams to run good but the rear main seal needs replaced so it leaks oil, new battery. Original rear end. Frame is very good & the bottom of the car still has a lot of undercoating on it. Floor braces & rockers very solid. New duel exhaust. Bottom of drivers door has some holes on the bottom & dents on the outside, trunk lid frame around inner edge has some holes as does the splash pan under the radiator & drivers side front floor board. The car has dents here & there but all fixabl, some of the original trim & taillight lenses are missing all I have is what is on the car, all the glass looks good, Monte Carlo swivel bucket seats is the only interior sitting in the car. Rare car that don't come up for sale very often, yes it's a project would make a really cool street rod or even a better custom or restore it.
