1941 Lincoln Zephyr Additional Info:

1941 Lincoln Zephyr 3 Window Business Coupe ordered as a "Custom" from the factory. A very cool Hot Rod Lincoln. This car is truly a RARE and beautiful automobile. There were 1341 Three Window Business Coupes manufactured in 1941 and ONLY 77 were ordered as a Custom. The custom coupe option included leather interior, wood grained dashboard and gold interior hardware. Today, there are probably less than six Custom 3 Window Coupes left in existence. A build sheet from the factory comes with the car documenting that it was ordered from the factory as a “CUSTOM.” Do not compare this car with a regular 1941 Lincoln Zephyr 3 Window Coupe as it is very special and very rare. Similar to the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL-1 as only 69 were produced by Chevrolet. I know of only one other 1941 LZ Custom and have included a picture of the car in this listing that went up for auction last year.

The '41 Lincoln Zephyrs are the nicest riding 3 Window Business Coupes from the 1937-1941 era and they are increasing in value rapidly. This car features a brand new Ox blood leather interior, new steering wheel and horn button, gold plated interior hardware and a wood grained dash.

The drive train features a V-8 Cadillac engine that runs strong with dual exhaust, Lincoln transmission and a new gas tank. Brand new Diamondback wide white wall radial tires mounted on the correct 16” rims, beautiful SS trim and chrome. The car also comes with a set of Lincoln Custom rear tail lights.

Many NOS parts are on this car. They include; Front fenders, rear fenders, fender skirts, transmission cover, trunk handle, center grill strip, one grill.

A solid exterior body car. The entire car was dustless media blasted. Epoxy painted, primered in a fillable primer, then painted in a Hot Rod satin black color and is waiting for your custom exterior color choice or you can drive it as is. (Ordered originally from the factory in Black, my plan was to paint it in Eagle Poly Gray which was Henry Ford’s favorite color, (A picture of Eagle Poly Gray is included in this listing and is shown on a 1940 Lincoln Continental and is not included in the sale)

Two items that were customized on this car were the front fenders are made to look like a 1940 Zephyr and a set of push button doors were installed. The car needs some finishing touches. The carpeting that is shown in the pictures of the interior is brand new but not a high quality wool carpet. I have a roll of wool carpeting that matches the lower door panels, is included with the car and will need to be installed. There is extra oxblood leather that comes with the car which can finish off the interior as the interior needs some finishing including a headliner, kick panels and the trunk carpeting. The interior hardware is currently being gold plated and is not currently installed but will come with the sale of the car. The exterior of the body is about 97% from being perfected. I have new wiring that comes with the car and will need to be installed. The window moldings need to be installed. The front and rear license plate brackets need to be mounted. The chrome and stainless steel trim are in excellent condition, replated or NOS except for the Fender skirt lower trim which is in good condition. It appears that the only thing that I am missing which I do not have is the trunk latch.
