1966 Lincoln Continental Additional Info:
I am Selling my 1966 Lincoln. This car has 58,200 original miles. The car was a solid rust free car stripped to bare metal and Professionally painted Black and gun metal. The paint job is straight and beautiful. The interior and upholstery is original and shows excellent as expected with a low mile car. I installed new carpet while the interior was out. The bumpers and door handles where professionally re chromed and lookbeautiful. The car has professionally installedair ride with 4 tanks. It is operational but will need buttoned up and controls mounted. The trunk hasmost of the lay out done. The tanks and controls were going to be polished and displayed and a custom box for subwoofers was incorporated. (see pics)The wheels are Dayton 22". The wheels and tires are new, only driven to move the car around the shop.
The motor is the original low mile 460and trans.A performance intake was installed with a upgradedEdlebrock carb. It comes with the original air cleaner painted to match the car and a aftermarket. The heads were done while the motor was apart as well. The car starts and runs excellent as expected. There is no exhaust on the car beyond the exhaust manifolds. For a additional cost I canhave the exhaust done. (I was planning a custom 3" dual exhaust.)All the glass is good except the windshield which has a crack. I can have that replaced for $600 if the buyer desires. I have all the trim for the car that isn't currently installed. Everything is there to finish it and hit the car shows. It just needs someone with the time to finish it. Unfortunately I am too backed up with shop projects to finish my own. Please bid to buy, the car must go. Thiscar was being built with no expense spared. It will turn heads at any car show when finished. Please feel free to message me with any questions as I'm sure there is a lot I missed.
