1955 Land Rover Defender

Up for sale is a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust confirmed 1955 Land Rover Series I (Pre-Defender), 86-inch that was manufactured by Rover, from parts manufactured in the UK, at the Lode Lane factory in Solihull on the September 30, 1955.
Honestly, I hate to part with it because it is so much fun to drive and turns heads at every turn (with the top on or off) but I need to consolidate my collection and I am looking for a 109-inch.
I’ve used it as a rugged daily driver and weekend head turner so it starts and drives as is, or you can restore it to make it look brand new again. Either way, it’s a cool piece of history and absolutely fun to drive. PS: you will have people asking you about it while stopped at red lights and taking photos of it when you drive by so if you want something that does not attract attention, this car is not for you!
