We imported this Land Rover from the United Kingdom.
Notes from the previous owner about the car: - Rebuilt in 2018 by "John The Landyman" (a well regarded specialist) out of Sussex, UK (he said it was the best all around Land Rover he has ever owned)- Paint respray in "Fawn" color in 2018- fully reconditioned 5-bearing diesel out of a Series 3 installed in 2020, this adds better reliability and fuel economy (originally the car came with a gasoline engine), will do 60 - 70MPH on the highway while returning 25-30 MPG- Tires only have 3,000 miles on them- a new clutch was installed when the engine was replaced- brake slave cylinders, brake pads, shocks and radiator were replaced around the same time as the clutch and engine change- new canvas top fitted in 2018- previous owner had owned the Land Rover since 2021- the vehicle was always stored in a carport with the previous owner and had covered less than 3,000 miles during his ownership- the underside has been treated with beeswax and phosphoric acid for protection- first registered in the UK in 1959- push button start installed and fires up immediately and idles as it should- windows and doors were replaced in 2018- new outriggers and a new rear crossmember in 2018- the Fawn color that it has been painted was a rare option originally with it only being offered on 1959 export vehicles- front windshield trim and soft top rain gutters were regalvanised in 2018- door and window seals were replaced in 2018- comes with a stack of service records, old MOT's and a full write up on the car from a previous owner
