1980 Land Rover Series III 109" wheelbase Additional Info:

Super classic Land Rover 109 Series III 3. Rare 3dr Panel STAGE ONE V8. Second owner since 2010. 130K ORIGINAL MILES. None on the market, specially in 3dr configuration.Changes in family priorities and a major, unplanned health issue force sale. Otherwise I would not part with it.
Unrestored condition. Engine runs well but needs carburetors rebuilt. I had them done twice by a local shop, and they couldn't get them right. Or perhaps even convert to a simpler Edelbrock intake with a Holley 600. That can be done over a weekend.130k original miles. Stock, all-original 3.5 Land Rover V8 gasoline engine, with no modifications or alterations. I would also recommend a PERTRONIX update.
New fuel pump, fuel tank, brake master cylinder and many other ancillary items of maintenance such as battery, hoses, brakes and more. Also, a new set of tires with less than 500 miles on them.
Transmission is the original LT95 4spd with a TRW clutch assembly 6 yrs ago. Nearly new rear brakes, BRAND-NEW radial tires and battery. Basically, the same drivetrain as the Range Rover of the time.
Two-tone finish, RAF blue with white top. No dents or damage. Paint still shines and contrasts well. Roof and wheels refinished a couple of years ago. Most lenses and reflectors have been replaced with new units.
Interior is fairly spartan as all Series and 109s are, but it is well preserved, with good seat upholstery in both front seats, as well as an empty cargo area. It has all required seatbelts.
ROCK SOLID undercarriag, chassis, floorboards and bulkhead. Corrosion on the inside of driver's door bottom. Nevertheless this Series III is PRICED TO SELL. It is an unrestored Series lll, yet still solid and well-preserved for a 1981. And a hard to find STAGE ONE V8.
Clear AZ title and legally imported years ago. Located at my home in Northern California. It is being advertised in a number of other venues for significantly more.I feel that I have priced it more than fairly, given market demand and limited availability of ANY Series III Stage 1 Land Rovers; there just aren't any for sale. It is listed for a fair amount with ample room for improvements or modifications if that is your desire.
I am glad to assist with Nationwide delivery at the most competitive rate available. Shipping is out of my home in San Mateo, CA 94403 to your destination.
Payment method is to be by regular Bank Wire transfer to our local CHASE Bank branch in town. Cashier's check may be accepted but funds will need to clear prior to any transport arrangements being made. I do not accept any other form of payment, unless the buyer shows up on person with cash and a trailer. If you have something else in mind, contact me PRIOR and we can discuss.Contact me with further questions.
Upon receiving payment via Certified funds, I will mail you the title and bill of sale while transportation of this Landie is being coordinated. I have a broker in VA, retired MSG in the Air Force, very much johnny-on-the-spot with transportation. I highly recommend him to help facilitate transportation. I can also make arrangements for overseas shipment through West Coast Shipping if need be.
I am a lifelong CA resident and long-time buyer and seller on eBay. I am NOT some car dealer or flipping type. I have owned this STAGE ONE for thirteen years.I am also a 27-year Army veteran, still serving. I do not play games or waste someone's time; I appreciate the same courtesy in return.I conduct business as business should be.
