-Imported from England in 2012 -only 11,311 miles on the clock!!!-The chassis, bulked, crossmember, door bottoms,and floorboards are all in excellent shape.-R380 Transmission-Added oil Cooler
During approximately 2009-2010 thisDefenderwent through the MOD’s Project Tithonus which was acost-saving measure by the MOD. The mainrequirement were toonly use vehicles that were up to current "health" and safety standards. Therefore instead of purchasing a new fleet of vehicles theychose to refurbish the best of the existing stockin hopes to keep them in service for another 10-20 years which would ultimately save the MOD money in the long run. The work included a comprehensive overhaul of only the best Defenders already owned by the MOD while all the others that didn’t make the cutwere sold off. The following is a list of what Project Tithonus consisted of

complete bare metal respray of body and chassis
fitting of new Wolf style composite hard top
fitting full Wolf roll-cage
new seatbelts front and rear
new updated front exmoor trim seats
new folding exmoor trim rear seats with seatbelts
new rubber sound proofing matting front and rear
new Wolf wheels
new upgraded brakes (Front disc brakes)
chequer-plate to bonnet, hood and sills
radio boxes and antennamounts on the bonnet
antennamounting posts on both sides
side cubby boxes
rifle carriers in the front
radio battery box in the rear
radio cable-tray mounted on the roll-cage
military rear bumpers
towing eye in the front bumper
NATO style rear tow-hitch
shovel/tools mounting to the rear door
Wolf air vents to both front wings
Wolf/WMIK carrier on bonnet

-The interior is in good overall shape-Seats are faded due to the age-Body is in good shape with no usual dents/dings-Runs and drives great!-Would make a great hunting vehicle or daily driver!
