1980 Land Rover Defender defender 110 4X4 Tithonus Additional Info:

For sale is a rare 1988 (Ebay does not recognize the VIN of this vehicle - SALLDHAC8BA315264) Land Rover 110 hard top, direct from UK Ministry of Defense, in very good condition. I personally selected this vehicle overseas from a group of 60 vehicles. My criteria included low miles, good chassis (frame), rot-free bulkhead (firewall), and good body.

This vehicle was part of the UK MOD's project Tithonus. Each Tithonus Land Rover was individually selected and fully refurbished by the MOD in 2007-2008 as part of the British Army LEP (life extension program).

The project was to extend the overall service life of the Land-Rovers by 10 years, from 20 to 30 years.
