For sale 1990 Land Rover Defender 5 Door Country Station Wagon with a 300 Tdi Diesel engine.
VIN: SALLDHMV7FA416486
I imported this Land Rover three years ago from Maryport, England, where is was owned by Maryport Inshore Rescue is an Independent Lifeboat and Swift Water rescue organization. Prior to that it was owned by a mountain rescue team. Being owned by two rescue teams it wasn’t driven much and stored indoors. This is how it only has 38,500 miles on it.
The chassis is in great condition with Waxoyl applied. There is some rust on the doors, which is a typical Land Rover issues. This truck is 29 years old and is in good shape for its age. The seats are in great shape without tears. The ceiling liner will need some attention, but I haven’t had time.
I have installed a Mud Defender Console and installed a new radio. A new CB as also been installed. Additionally, I have wired the winch to be controlled from the cab of the truck for safety. The wires have also been run for spot/flood lights on the front and back (I haven’t had the time to install). Mud Seat Rail extenders were also installed (I’m 6’2”) so the seats have more leg room. The spare tire mount was replaced with a Mantec swing away spare tire carrier.
The vehicle is in Seattle, WA with a Washington title. Copies of all necessary paperwork will be given to buyer I am happy to take more photos/videos/Facetimewith any serious buyers. If you are local, you are more than welcome you to come and inspect the vehicle.
I’m selling it because I’m just not using it much. I brought it to Seattle last summer and have put less than 200 miles on it out here. I’m hoping to find someone to enjoy it as much as I did when I had it in New England. I have spare parts to go with it (i.e. oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, spare fan belt, ect).
If there are any other questions please email me. Thanks
