This a very rare opportunity to procure a most outstanding, original, low mileage example of this 1984 Land Rover Defender. Having covered just 64986 Miles.
It is a 90" Chassis, Original County model including 7 individual seats, original carpets, over-mats and headlining.
This vehicle has never been restored, painted or taken apart. It has had very light use by it's three private owners, over the last 34 years. I am informed that it has been garaged from new and maintained regardless of cost, backed up by the history file. It is a 'matching numbers' car.
Everything works and nothing is broken. The interior is nothing short of immaculate. The exterior is incredibly straight and the paintwork looks completely original and in exceptional condition. There is no rust in this car. some very minor imperfections in the paint but that really is it. The chassis is in exception condition having been wax oiled from new.
Mechanically, it starts and runs beautifully, very quiet. It has plenty of power through all 5 gears and is a pleasure to drive. I will send a video of the car starting from cold, running and driving for serious prospective buyers.
We acquired the vehicle from an English gentleman with a villa in Southern France, he decided that it was no longer practical for his needs and was very reluctantly let it go. He had just spent around £2000 having a full service including cam belt and water pump, new shocks and some minor brake work with genuine Land Rover parts!
There is nothing to do to the vehicle, mechanically and cosmetically perfect. I have never seen an un-restored defender in this condition. It really is a time warp and probably never to be found again.
