1993 Land Rover Range Rover LWB County Additional Info:
Ok friends, I'm selling my 93 LWB. It's road worthy, been my main vehicle to get around town, I drive it up and down the interstate.
Things that have been done: transmission case was removed and welded where there was a crack, transmission is in fine working order and shifts beautifully. Once the crack was welded, new pan and gasket were put on, now there is no leak, and no danger of one, like new. New rear windshield, recent oil change and new filter, new battery, new coil, brand new tires w/ discount warranty, new heater hose, brand new brakes, newly inspected and passed, new exhaust/muffler system, new air filter, new sound system, engine bay was cleaned carefully by my mechanic (who works on these things and knows what he's doing) the entire thing was inspected and cleared by him for driving, including chassis which is in solid condition, only superficial rust. Engine sounds great, runs great, healthy. Guy I purchased the car from mentioned he thought the 4.2 was upgraded to new engine at 100,000 miles, but I cannot confirm that. Since it's 25 years old, you could remove catalytic converters for improved fuel economy.
Car is roadworthy and passed inspection so nothing needs to be done up front, but some things you might want to do: improve interior, fix tailgate latch, front windshield crack, put on new front driveshaft which comes with car, small rust hole in front wheel well, but I cover it up and it doesn't bother me, (you don't see it unless you move the carpet) couple of fuses need to be replaced, etc as the front shotgun seat needs power.
Things that come with the Rover: two boxes of goodies/parts, new range rover decals, front bumper not on car, new driveshaft, new halogen lights that fit in bumper (plastic cracked on one of them), tail light guards, three additional three-spoke wheels, one with a tire (car currently has cyclone wheels on it with brand new tires). You also get the piece of mind, that I've been using it as my main vehicle and it's just passed inspection as roadworthy. It's the coveted LWB model.
Lastly, I'm selling this car to raise funds, no other reason. PM with questions. Sale's Final. Sale completed through paypal. You pay for shipping, but I'm happy to help, logistically. Happy bidding.
