1963 Land Rover Safari Station Wagon Additional Info:

You are bidding on a 1963 Land Rover Series IIa Safari Station Wagon. Engine starts and runs fine. I drove it around today. Shift fine. Land Rover has lock out front hubs. This Land Rover has an unusual option which is Overdrive. Doors open and close fine, no sagging. Interior condition of the bottom of the doors have some rust but no rot. Hood opens and closes fine. I just adjusted the valves and removed canister type oil filter and replaced with a spin on adapter so a conventional oil filter can be used. I have changed the oil. This vehicle does have a heater but it does not work. It’s probably the wiring. All lights do work including the turn lights. This vehicle has excellent clutch and brakes. Steering needs adjusted. Very good original chassis and bulkhead. Good solid exhaust. Feel free to email me any questions or other pictures you would like to see. Also comes with two spin off oil filters and the original canister type. I do have the original style banjo steering wheel for this vehicle.
