We imported this Santana from Spain. The VIN is VSELBFBL8AZ115181. It has a clean Texas title in our name.
ThisSantana is a one owner truck with 71,500 original miles (115,000kms). It comes with the original owner's manuals, the service booklet dating back to its first service in April of 1989, and some receipts. All of thesedocuments are in the original Santana dealer plastic bag. It is extremelyrare to find a 2500DC that is this well documented with this low of mileage. It's also extremely rare to find a 2500DC that is this original and in unrestored shape. Most of these trucks have what we call "Quick and Dirty" paint jobs and interior jobs that cover up as much rust and problem areas as possible. The electrics in this truck are all original as well with no splices or poor repairs.
Mechanically this truck received new:-tires-brakes (front and rear drums and discs and pads)-fluids and filters including otor oil, gearbox, transfer case, differentials, brake, clutch and coolant-upper and lower hoses (including new brakes hoses)-upgraded battery cables to 2/0 gauge with marine disconnect
Cosmetically this truck received new:-dash top-dash binnacle (with higher quality metal one)-instrument panel holders-dash sides-door cards
There is nothing on it that needs to be addressed. It runs, drives, starts, and stops excellently, and feels very comfortable and solid on the road. As a diesel, it gets great gas mileage. The car is solid and has no rust; the chassis is galvanized from the factory. With a 5 speed transmission, it can easily do 70mph on the highway.
Cosmetically the truck is in incredible shape. The paint and decals are all original.Theseats have no rips or tears. We replaced allofthe plastic components (listed above), so they are all in excellent shape. The dash binnacle has been upgraded to a metal version instead of plastic to ensure longevity. The only interior flaw is a small rip in the center console.
