This Monte Carlo Edition of the Lancia Fulvia was created in commemoration of the 1972 win of the Monte Carlo Rallye and Lancia’s Rallye Championship win in the same year.
I am listing this car for the owner. It is a 1974 model finished in “Rosso York” Red with Black Hood and Trunk Lid. It has a black interior. This version had no front or rear bumpers. This car was originally sold in Italy to its first owner, in 1975. The original Italian paperwork is with the car. It was imported to the US in 2002. The current owner purchased it in 2003 with 73,707 Km (45799 miles) and has cared for it over the past 13 years. It currently shows 76,739 kilometers (about 48,000 miles). It has been maintained by an Italian marque specialist as needed over that period. Last year the entire brake system was re-built and a new battery was installed. The 1300 V4 with twin Solex Carburetors runs the way a Lancia should and the 5 Speed shifts nicely. If you do the math with the kilometers and miles, you will determine that the car was used sparingly with only about 2000 miles driven over 13 years. It was driven only in the summer months. As we all know, cars are meant to be driven and fare much better when doing the job they were meant to do. So whoever buys this car should drive it. The car is a good driver. It has a bright shine to its paint finish. The underside is solid. There is some rust at the lower fenders behind the front wheels and some bubbles here and there. It is a car that can be driven and enjoyed as it sits. Then over time the rust issues on the body can be addressed. The interior looks nice overall with no unsightly tears on the seats. There is a small patch on the passenger head rest. The dash has a crack around the center at the top. There is no radio, but there are speakers in the lower edge of door panels. On the dash it looks like the cigarette lighter is missing. It appears to me that all the gauges are working as is the clock (I did not confirm if it keeps perfect time). The original owner's manual is present, it is in Italian. You are welcome to come test drive and view the car. The buyer is responsible to pick up the car from its current location upon payment of the balance due.
The car is currently registered in Connecticut. The Department of Motor Vehicles of the State of Connecticut does not issue titles for vehicles over 20 years old, so the car will be sold with a bill of sale. It is sold as is, where is. We recommend that you come and inspect and drive the vehicle prior to purchase. This car is listed for sale locally and this listing may be ended at any time without prior notice
