1988 Jeep Wrangler for sale. Has 2001 4.0 HO EFI motor, CU/engine harness installed, V3550 5sp trans and NP231 transfer case all pulled from 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport HO that rolled in 2004 with just over 40k miles on it.
Clean non-salvage, A non-op title in my name in hand (no back fees due).California Jeep, o no rust issues! Chassis has 131k miles, 3 x 12.50 tires with nearly 100% tread, " lift? (unsure), way bar with disconnects, ir raid intake, lowmaster exhaust with '01 header/dual mini cats (CA equipment), 01 instrument cluster and transfer case shifter. Body good, aint good, ull hard top & solid doors, lus bikini top & 1/2 soft doors, on door mounted mirrors included, nteriorbed-linercoated. Warn 8000 winch, 1 x 10.5 spare tire, eceiver hitch, erf bars.Also includes brand new tow bar (2" ball).

I did all work for the swap and can answer any questions. I planned on driving this Jeep for many years, anted it be be reliable for my family, o did it right. Ran out of money...my loss is your gain.Failed to smog in CA as '01, BDII complete and works, o codes. May not be an issue to register in other states, heck before you buy.Tags expired in 2007, as been garaged since then.Runs and drives good, hifts smoothly. No known mechanical issues, would drive it as is if I could get license plate current.
I had rear drive shaft shortened for swap, ront drive shaft (included) is too long and will need to be shortened for 4x4. Shifts smoothly into low range and drives like it should.This Jeep chassis is nearly 30 years old so is not perfect, ut is in very good condition considering its age. Motor, ransmission and transfer case excellent.
