This a real head turner of a Jeep, meticulously upgraded and maintained and in excellent condition. Very rare and recently rebuilt automatic transmission with hard top / doors and beautiful original interior. Always been an around town cruiser, not a rock crawler. I'm not a car dealer and this is not a show car – this is my 7th Jeep and second Scrambler and definitely the most pristine CJ-8 I have ever seen in California. Thanks for looking!
Engine: 258 I-6 4.2, ~139k miles on chassis but almost everything has been rebuilt
Transmission: Very rare TF-999 3-speed automatic, fully rebuilt less than 1,000 miles ago
Drivetrain: 4x4 with Dana 300 transfer case, upgraded front and rear differential (AMC 20) from 2.73 to new 4.10 gears
Brakes: Added brake booster for 50% more braking power
Tires: 33"x14.5" Mickey Thompson Baja tires & Eagle Alloy wheels
Suspension: 4.5" Rubicon Express lift kit
Exhaust: New catalytic converter ($250), just recently passed California Smog
Exterior / Interior: "Candy Apple Red" paint job, spray on bedliner, original black leather interior, new black carpet
