“This 1976 Jeep CJ-5 is a solid, well-kept classic that remains close to its original roots with only minimal, thoughtful upgrades. It’s powered by the dependable 258 cu in inline-6 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and true 4WD, complete with locking hubs. The Jeep is equipped with a hard top, Warn winch, and heavy aluminum slot mag wheels (six total). An aftermarket spare tire carrier with a 2" hitch receiver is installed, and it also includes a roll bar tool bag stocked with basic tools. The odometer has been replaced, so true mileage is unknown. The most significant modification is an electronic ignition for improved reliability; the original ignition system is included and will go with the vehicle. I purchased this CJ-5 in 2008 from what I believe was the original owner. Since then, it has received professional rust repair to the foot wells and rear quarters, followed by a professional repaint that closely matches the original color. The Jeep shows normal wear consistent with its age but remains in good overall condition. Several manuals, including the service manual, wiring diagrams, and winch documentation, are available electronically. An aftermarket tow bar (not installed) is included, and a small separately titled trailer is also available with the vehicle. I’m selling simply because I don’t drive it anymore and hate to see such a beautiful Jeep sit unused.”
