1973 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

This 1973 Jeep CJ 5 is a restomod with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for about 9 months. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.

Vehicle Details

1973 Jeep CJ-5 with an AMC 304 V8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission. The odometer shows about 5800 miles but I do not know if its rolled over (I can assume it has being over 50 years old). It runs solid but the carburetor could use a good tuning, it does not like to run cold but once it warms up it drives great. The transmission does need to be serviced, it shifts fine but it will pop out of first gear if you are not holding the shift lever when you let off the throttle.

I haven't taken it on any serious off road adventures since I have owned it, but the 4-wheel drive works. This is a clean vehicle but it is not a showroom rebuild, there are cosmetic dents/scratches on the body. The seats are all Rugged Ridge aftermarkets, with the rear seat being brand new along with the rear seatbelts. The driver seat is beginning to develop a small tear along the seat bucket stitching.

I bought this in April 2025 and it already had the wheels and 35 inch tires with a 1.5 inch body lift. Since I have had it I put about $10k in upgrades.

Dual battery conversion with new batteries, selector solenoid and 250 amp alternator with upgraded battery cables to handle to load

Bestop soft top with doors are in good condition with no tears or broken zippers
