I have a 1978 Jeep CJ5 true barnfind up for a no reserve auction. It has a lot of original paperwork with it. It is a 2 owner Jeep with 80,063 original miles. Miles will go up as I have been driving it some. It has the original paint, top and interior. All gauges, lights, heater, 4wd work as they should. It has a new set of Firestones 31x10.50x15 mounted on Pacer 15X10 wheels including a spare. This is a turn key Jeep you can drive as is or restore. The tub has some rust in the rockers and front floor pans, with the tailgate being the worst. I don't know of many original 1978 Jeeps that don't have any rust. The frame is perfect. It has no rust thru anywhere. I have put several new parts on the Jeep to get it back to roadworthy condition including a fuel pump, fuel sending unit, carburetor, fuel filter, front brake lines, passenger side brake caliper, tires, alternator, radiator hoses. The original soft top and doors could really use replacing. I do have 2 half doors that I will let go with the Jeep. The passenger door plastic is cracked, but all the original hardware is with the Jeep.This is an original paint, unmolested example of a Jeep CJ5 with original miles.
