COLLECTIBLE & VERY DESIRABLE TWO OWNER 1991 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER 'FINAL EDITION' 4WD SUV WITH ONLY 71K ORIGINAL MILES!!West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this rare and very desirable American Motors 'Final Edition' 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4WD 5.9L V8 Full Size SUV model with only 71K original miles and loaded with factory options including; including air conditioning, rear window defroster, power door locks and windows, power steering, power brakes, electric mirrors, tilt wheel, automatic transmission, 'Red' leather seats, tinted glass and power tailgate window! The Jeep Wagoneer was the first luxury 4X4 SUV, compared to its contemporaries such as the basic and utilitarian Land Rover and it only saw very minor mechanical changes throughout its 28 years plus production run, which was the longest production run in US automotive history and which was produced through several different name changes from 1963-1991. The Wagoneer was to replace the original 'Willys Jeep Station Wagon' which had been produced since 1946 and remained in production into 1965. For 1982, new luxury editions named Custom Wagoneer and Wagoneer Brougham were added, and the Wagoneer Limited was substantially upgraded with luxury equipment. Limited buyers got bucket seats with leather trim, a center armrest, and unique door panels; leather-wrapped steering wheel; extra thick carpeting; woodgrain overlay on the lower dash; wide woodgrain side and rear; roofrack; bright drip rail overlay; aluminum wheels (still 15 x 7); a tire upgrade; various moldings; standard air conditioning; power windows and locks; cruise; tilt wheel; FM stereo; the visibility group; electric remote control mirrors; bumper guards; six-way power front seats; and a rear window defogger. In 1984, the full-size Wagoneer line was consolidated into one offering and in 1987 Chrysler bought out American Motors and continued to build the Grand Wagoneer until 1991.These 1987-91 model years are considered the best of the breed due to a number of upgrades including upgraded wood sidings and modern aluminum wheels in 'Gunmetal Grey Metallic' and with two-stage base/clearcoat paint. The 1989-91 years also boasted a number of further improvements including a quality replacement for the air conditioning system, which was prone to leaks in the earlier models, an interior overhead console and compass and other welcome and general improvements in fit and finish. The end of the line came in 1991, after enjoying one of the longest production runs for any vehicle, with the powerful V8 engine and high towing capacity having proved the Grand Wagoneer to be the vehicle of choice for numerous repeat buyers. These late model Grand Wagoneers with low mileage have become a highly prized and coveted vehicle which routinely sell for more than their original sticker prices (see the renown Wagonmaster and other related cult sites for comparison pricing) more than two decades after rolling off the assembly line. In 1991 a total of only 1,560 SJ Grand Wagoneers were produced with an optional 'Final Edition Jeep Grand Wagoneer' badge on the dashboard and this particular example is one such model! This is a genuine two owner vehicle since new and is an absolutely pristine example of this fully loaded and legendary 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 'Final Edition' with only 71K original miles. As previously stated these models have become highly sought after and collectible vehicles with enthusiasts around the world especially seeking out well maintained and low mileage examples of the rare 'Final Edition' like this one!As for the best way to describe the Grand Wagoneer ... large print ads in 1984 declared, Jeep Grand Wagoneer has no rival... why do you suppose its the solitary entry in the full-size, 4-wheel drive luxury wagon class?""The vehicle was always garage kept, by its original owners in Reno, Nevada from whom we purchased the vehicle in the year 2015 with 53,889 original miles and consequently sold to only its second, and now previous owners, in Newport Beach, CA. The vehicle is still virtually as new, there have been no accidents, & the vehicle has never been off road! The vehicle was originally always primarily dealer serviced at 'Land Rover' of Reno, NV and the car has a clean CARFAX report both confirming its ownership and mileage. The original and quite stunning 'Colorado Red' color paint with wood sidings is in excellent condition and the luxurious leather interior is also quite stunning and as new with beautiful original matching Red color leather front and rear seats with virtually no signs of any wear and all the power options and gauges are working as they should including the ice-cold A/C.This well maintained and low original 71K miles highly desirable 1991 'Final Edition' Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4WD 5.9L V8 SUV runs as if still brand new, the transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, there are no oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool - drives exactly like such a well kept and maintained vehicle with such low miles should! You will surely look long and hard to find a finer or nicer driving and looking example of this legendary full size Jeep Grand Wagoneer, owned by only two very careful and mature non-smoking owners since new!
