This is a 1981 Jeep Scrambler with a 6’ 6” Western conventional “standard” grade plow. It has an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, high output alternator, tilt steering column, four wheel drive and the straight 6 cylinder engine. I installed a used, but very good condition, snow plow on it in 2012 and used it two times to plow the driveway at our family lake cottage in northern Wisconsin. The Jeep starts, runs, drives and brakes as it should. The odometer shows 93,589 miles on it, but I have no way of knowing if it ever went over 100,000 miles and re-set itself back to zero. All lights and gauges work. I bought the Jeep in 2009. The Jeep was in Colorado before I bought it and I am the second titled owner. I replaced all the fluids on the Jeep and performed any maintenance that was needed. The hardtop is an OEM full steel version (World Cab) off an Alaskan Postal Scrambler (1 of 242 made) with a custom lift gate. It has 15x8 wheels with 31x10.5 tires, 20 gallon plastic gas tank and 3 point front seat belts. It also has OEM wide track axles (Dana 44 rear, Dana 30 HD front). The Jeep and plow were always stored inside while I owned them. I have a NOS chrome rear bumper with aluminum end caps that can be worked into the deal if wanted, but it is not included. A factory service manual is included. The VIN is shown in one of the pictures.
The following is a list of things that I have replaced along the way. Spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, belts, radiator (with OEM heavy duty cooling), rebuilt carb., shocks, leaf springs, bushings, tie rods, drag links, ball joints, u-joints, brakes, exhaust, window weatherstrips (and related rubber) and windshield frame weatherstrip.
$22,900 cash only. I am willing to consider in person offers. I have a clean title for the Jeep that will need to be signed over to the purchaser at time of sale.
I have a heated garage where you can inspect the Jeep. Test drives are welcome if the roads are dry and not too salty. Thank you.
