1989 Jeep Wrangler Islander Additional Info:

Very original, classic Jeep Islander. Daily driver, well maintained, runs and drives excellent, reliable, has a rebuilt engine and many other new OEM parts, see below. All worn parts replaced with OEM Jeep parts. Includes bikini top and stock support rail - all in good condition. Original paint with original Islander graphics. One of the most original and well running Islanders I have seen. Gets compliments. Will miss it but bought a new one and parking is difficult where I live.
- Engine rebuilt about 10 yrs ago. 4.2 6 cylinder. Starts first click, runs great. Excellent torque/acceleration, no smoke, no issues, everything has been fixed or replaced over last couple years. The 4 wheel drive works well, however has not been offroad.
- Radiator was overhauled a year ago, also new thermostat. Runs cool and has no issues in highway traffic, etc.
- New distributes cap
- New Rotor
- New spark plugs and spark plug wires
- Fuel tank cleaned and new fuel lines
- Fluids have been flushed and bled
- Tail lights replaced with OEM
- Rebuilt and overhauled carburetor
- Valves and timing adjusted
- Battery was replaced
- New charcoal canister
- Suspension was updated with new bushings, tie rod ends, etc.
- Front tires fairly new, rear tires about 50% tread- Current CA registration good to April 2021.
