So here is my 1978 Jeep Cherokee Chief wide track for sale . It has the standard 360 engine with the factory turbo 400 trans. 4 wheel drive works great and I drove up until about 2 months ago. I’ve replaced the factory carb with a new Edelbrock 550 . It has a new master cylinde, fuel pum, battery, and a few other items . It’s currently dirty as seen in the pics.... we have 11 pecan trees make a mess in the spring.I’ve owned the Jeep for about 5 years with the intention of restoring it but to be honest I have to many projects and I don’t want it to sit and go to the bad. I always hated to see good cars set and rust away while the owners would say,” I’m gonna hang onto it and one day fix it up” . Then ten years later the car is still sitting rusted to crap. It has rust in the normal places around the rear fender flares and quarters . The original owner had done some work to the body but it was pretty crappy. So it needs to have some flare work done on the rears and a new paint job for sure. The gas gauge stopped working and I have not had time to get around to fixing it. The tailgate window is Manuel and need to be greased . The front park light lense is busted from my wif, lol . I’m the second owner and I bought it from the original owner in Rocky Mount North Carolina. I have the starting bid at $3000.00 if you have questions just ask. As far as shipping go’s I will help but the Jeep has to be picked up from my farm. I will not deliver to shipping or trucking business. I have done that before in the past with other vehicles and I just do not have the time to be able to do so.
