1978 Jeep CJ Additional Info:
You are looking at one of the most beautiful CJ-5s available on the market and this is a No Reserve Auction. Coveted Levi Edition. As beautiful as it is on the outside the real surprise comes when the hood is opened. This CJ has a crate motor 304 V8 that has been custom painted. Large Radiator was custom mounted to keep this bad boy cool. Everything under the hood firewall forward is new and custom. Beautiful headers that lead to the side mounted exhaust pipes. This Jeep is definitely no Ninja because this exhaust roars and always turns heads. This jeep has custom Rugged Ridge Front and Rear Bumpers. Front Bumper features Rugged Ridge 8500lb Nylon winch with remote control that can be used from inside the cabin. Rear Bumper features 5th full size spare tire carrier. 5 American racing 15 inch steel wheels with 33x10.50 BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires. Tires and Rims have about 900 miles on them. 2 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift. Suspension is all new! The Jeep has new seats in the front and back that are in perfect condition. Carpet was also added to the interior but not for the purpose of hiding rust because you will not find any rust issues with this Jeep. The paint is original and restored. Hood is custom painted and this is the only part of the jeep that really lacks in beauty. It does have some dents in it but still no rust issues. Hood springs were added so the hood will stay up on its own. Hood still shows well. KC lights were added to light up the night. I would love to tell you how much I have invested in this project but I threw away all the receipts so my wife could not figure out my little white lies. This Jeep could be a daily driver but I kept it in the garage and just drove it on pretty days. We did not even take it off road because it was too much of a pain to clean. Does NOT have a top or doors, only a bikini top. I will help in delivery for my cost but if you live up north you may have to throw in the purchase of a new ski coat. To replicate this Jeep would easily cost more than 20k. Everything works great with the exception of the fuel gauge which will not always read true and the horn will not honk. All lights and blinkers work. Don't buy a new MatchBox wanna be Jeep like all the other snowflakes. Get a real Jeep and stand out in the crowd. If you want to be seen and heard...this is the jeep for you. This Jeep is for sale locally and may be removed at any time. Text 901-652-8756 for more pics or questions.
