1978 Jeep J10 Honcho Levi Gladiator Additional Info:
For sale is an extremely rare 1978 Jeep J10 Honch Levi's Edition. This truck came from Colorado. Has original paint and decals. Perfect Patina! Truck is ridiculously solid. Just surface rust throughout with the exception of one small hole the size of a quarter on driver floor pan and small amount of rust on rear half of the bed. Drives really smooth down the road and straight as an arrow. You can take this truck down the highway at 80 mph with one finger on the wheel.
Rhino/Gladiator front end conversion was done with the addition of quad 5K LED and HID headlights with new harness. Original 360 was recently rebuilt. Bored 60 over and holds great oil pressure (60 psi when cold, mid 40's when warm). Motor is very reliable with no issues and has lots of power. Other upgrades include Edelbrock air gap intake, Edelbrock 2171 4bbl carb, and headman long tube headers. Transmission was rebuilt and has less than 2000 miles on it. Transmission has new 1700 stall torque converter, new flexplate, and new starter. Truck is equipped with the quadratrac 4 wheel drive system. Selectable 4x4 locks transfer case 50/50 with low range. This truck is a beast in all off-road and weather conditions. Dana 60 in rear. Dana 44 in front. 3.54 gears. Truck is lifted 4 inches. Brand new General Grabber 33x12.5R15 tires and brand new 15x10 American Racing Assault II wheels. Also included is new custom ABS door panels. New battery. Recent change on front brake rotors and pads.
Truck needs new fuel sending unit, rear brake shoes, front shocks, and fuel line from tank to carb replaced (works, however fuel pressure bleeds off when the truck sits for a while).
Don't need to sell. Will sell at the right offer. Just posting to see if anyone might be interested. It is a lot of fun to drive and it gets a ton of attention where ever you go. Very dependable. I drove it 300 miles without any issues.
$500 deposit and remaining amount due in cash or cashiers check (check must clear before pick up). Shipping is buyer's responsibility. Low ball offers will be auto-declined. Very rare and unique truck. When's the last time you saw a Jeep Honcho Levi truck? This truck is a true survivor.
