I am going on a cruise to Nassau, Bahamas and getting married. I will be leaving on November 17th and returning on November 20th. I will not be available to speak on the phone, email or text message from November 17th thru the 20th and my first day to be available will be November 21st, 2017.
This auction ends on or about November 15th, so if you have questions or you would like to view/inspect the Scrambler, please make arrangements prior to the auction end date. If you are the winning bidder, please make plans to pick the Scrambler up no later than November 16th or on or after November 21st.
I purchased this Scrambler from a family friend who had it custom built at an Orlando Jeep Shop. About a year ago my friend started to have health issue and knowing I had always admired the Scrambler he let me know he would be selling it. I love the Jeep and have enjoyed driving it to dinner, to watch the sunset and the occasional trip to the office, but I as a business owner in the Florida Keys, Hurricane Irma has thrown a wrench in my finances, so the Jeep must go.
There is absolutely nothing (zero) wrong with the way this Scrambler runs or drives and it is in amazing mechanical condition. The only thing I am aware of mechanically is the gas gauge is not accurate. When the tank is filled, it only reflects just over a 1/4 tank. The Jeep drives straight down the road and is very comfortable to drive at any speed. There is no wobble or sway in the suspension. I would not hesitate to drive it any distance.
It has been kept in a garage since it was built and now it is kept under a cover, under my home (House is built on stilts). There is a little surface rust on the front grill and on the windshield frame but i am sure most of it would disappear with some Sno-Bol cleaner or Goo Gone and a good detail. The undercarriage and suspension is in great condition.
As seen in the pictures, I do have doors for the Jeep. The top you see on the Jeep is the only top I have and the only top I have ever used. It is not my daily transportation so if the weather is not beautiful, I do not drive it, so I have never needed any other top.
If you are the winning bidder, you will have committed to purchase the Scrambler and you will need to submit the deposit within 24 hours. If you do not submit the deposit within 24 hours, I will relist the Scrambler. Please do not bid if you do not have the money to make the purchase. If you pay with cash or a wire transfer you will be able to pick up the jeep anytime. If you pay with a cashiers check, it will need to be drawn on a bank located here in the Keys and we will need to go to the bank to verify its authenticity. (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Capital Bank, BB&T, TIB Bank, Centennial Bank, First State Bank of Fl Keys, Centerstate Bank)
Thanks,
Allan
