1967 Jeep CJ5 Additional Info:
Looking to sell or trade this 1967 (Kaiser) Jeep CJ-5. Jeep runs and drives good. Original Buick 225 Dauntless V-6 engine is nearly all original. This is a really good motor that won awards in its day, has good documentation, and is easy to find parts for. The Jeep's body is in great condition. No major rust issues. There are spots inside the storage box and a under the frame with surface rust. No rust holes. This is rare for a Jeep of this age. The tires are nearly brand new heavy duty 9-ply military grade. Recently changed plugs, wires, belt, water pump (bad bearing), engine and transmission oil and filter. Recently adjusted timing, rebuilt carburetor, and replaced fuel lines and filters. Could probably use some tweaking to the carb this summer, but is clean as a whistle. The Jeep has had one owner before me who took great care of it. If I can answer any questions, let me know. Included in the deal are all the original parts I received or changed out since I've had it. Also, there is a removable roll bar, side steps, and soft top. You really need to see it to appreciate it. I will hate to see it go, but want to find it a good home. This Jeep would be a great addition to any antique car collection, and definitely turns heads!
