1986 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

Up for auction here is a beautiful restomod 1986 Jeep CJ7. I am a professional mechanic specialising in customs and this is my personal truck. Previously it was an Arizona Jeep until the owner moved here earlier this year. It has very low mileage at only 102k original miles and has the following features:
rebuilt carb last yearcd & media systempower steeringfront disc brakes5 speed manual that shifts great and cruises nicely down the freeway at 65mphcustom 6 point roll cage with the mid points reinforced to the framespare tire carrier with spare and good treadtires are nearly brand newno leaksanti corrosion coatings on tub and framefront seats have shoulder beltscustom coating ondoors and hard top
There's a lot of dress up items and other small bonuses I'm sure I'm forgetting. The Jeep comes with the original hard top and a vinyl bikini top. The truck was painted in two stage base & clearcoat Chrysler Brilliant Silver just last month. The tub was coated in bed liner at the same time.
I built the truck to be a driver, not a show truck that I would be afraid to drive and get dirty. It's eye catching and yet I wouldn't be afraid to take it off road or to the beach. We just did a nearly 300-mile trip down the coast of Oregon and the truck ran and handled great. It's amazing how much attention this truck gets! The driver's seat hassome separations in the seamsthat have been covered with tape. Other than the issues mentioned with the driver's seat the rest of the seats are nice. None of them need to be replaced in my opinion. I was going to eventually replace the seats just to update the look with Smittybilt Factory Direct Fit replacements but I figured the new owner might want a different color than me or would leave them as they are. If this is something you are interested in and you are the winning bidder I will install them at no extra cost if you purchase them. Smittybiltfront buckets are about$320 for the pair and the rear bench is$200. I'm happy to provide you with whatever you need within reason to feel confident in your purchase so if you have any questions or want to see more pics please feel free to call me at 775 338-3300. There will be no concessions after the auction has ended so please ask for any and all photos and informationor set up a time to see the truck yourself or to have it inspected prior to bidding. All inspections must be paid for in advance at a mechanic of your choosing at your cost of course. I will also work with your shipper to help make your purchase as smooth as possible. Thanks and happy bidding!
