What I have for sale here is the 1982 American General Dispatcher Jeep (DJ-5)
This Right Hand Drive Jeep runs amazing and shifts very smooth. The interior is all original and ready to put on a route or just simply have fun with her.
I put new tires on her and I just did a complete service job on her too. I drive this jeep everyday and she runs just as good on the city streets as she does on the freeway.
I get thumbs up at every stop light and when I drive her down to South Beach, Miami everyone wants to sit in the seat and take a selfie
If I was to keep this Jeep I would do some minimal Bodywork and spray some fresh paint on her
Here is a list of parts I would replace so she has the real nice showroom look::: Left front fender, rear tail light lens, plastic trim that goes over the doors, rubber covers that go over the brake pedal and the gas pedal, a mirror replacement for the left mirror that goes on the fender, patch the drivers door or replace the door. Look at the hood and you will see a small dent right near the left fender. I took close up photos.
All glass is perfect, all instruments are all original and work. The shifter has a lightbulb out but I ordered one for it
The engine is the GM 2.5 liter straight 4 cylinder. This engine was used in the s10, pontiac Fierro, Jeeps, AMC vehicles, nova and many other vehicles.
We installed a quality battery charger/maintainer inside the engine compartment. Schumacher is the company we bought the charger from. Look at the pics of the unit.
Look at my pictures or ask for more to view the details of this jeep. This jeep is ready for the route right now and it will be a work horse for several more years to come.
