This is a 1978 AM General DJ-5 Postal Jeep that runs great and is ready for a mail route or just for some unique transportation.
As a Rural Mail Carrier I have driven countless postal jeeps and this is one by far is one of the nicer jeeps that I have seen because it has always been well-maintained over the years. The inside has been refinished with a new gray headliner and gloss gray paint. It is extremely rare to find a postal jeep that has been stripped down inside and repainted on the inside as well as on the outside! Exterior is refinished in a brand new Panama Blue paint job. It Has some typical body imperfections that show through the paint due to its age and use, but is in very desirable condition for a postal jeep. Here are some details:
