1966 Jaguar S-Type S Additional Info:
* Lower price to sell !I have owned this iconic Jaguar since 2006. Original S type saloon imported from the UK in 1967 by Dewtards Enterprises of London, for non other than Mr. William Hewlett, the H in HP !78k original miles. AUTOMATIC. Stock 3.4L 6 cyl engine with dual carbs. XkE independent rear suspension. 4wheel Power disc brakes,factory-original Jaguar wire wheels with MICHELIN tires. An unrestored, CALIFORNIA CAR SINCE 1967, virtually RUST FREE with rock solid chassis, floors, doors, fenders and undercarriage!
Last driven in 2015. About $5k spent at San Rafael British on new brakes, rotors, pads, parking brake cable and pads, fuel lines, radiator hoses, recored radiator, new fuel tank, rebuilt fuel pumps, hose kit, wheel bearings, axle seals, hub bearings, rebuild of second tank, distributor cap, rotor, condensor, points, wires, etc.
Will need full servicing to get back up and runnng. Body 95% solid, on still old original color. Interior is complete: good headliner, good original door panels, original carpet worn but there. All glass is good, complete dash with all instruments and knobs. Seats complete with good frames. Leather poor.
Rock solid chassis, floorboards, doors, door sills, roof, trunk, engine bay and windshield posts. Two small areas of corrosion.
A great restoration candidate with tons of potential. Clear CA title in my name since 2007. Reportedly belonged to Mr William Hewlett of HP fame, but have not delved into it further. I also have its heritage Certificate from Jaguar.
Serious inquiries only please. I am Active-duty military, with very limited time and no patience for time wasters or tire kickers.
This is a GREAT candidate for an easy restoration. With some time anddedication, which after having my second kid, I just no longer have, this would make a terrific one of a kind super Classic.I have owned and driven British cars since I was 15 years old. My reality is that the time is just no longer there.I am not a car dealer or reseller. I am a lifelong CA resident and 28 YR ARMY veteran, still serving. I have a passion for old British iron.I purchased the Jaguar after I returned from a deployment to Honduras in 2005. I have owned it since. It is titled to me, I'm my name. This is an opportunity for a Jaguar or vintage-car enthusiast to get a very early Classic as an easy restoration candidate with some work and TLC. Given current market trends, this is a great deal.
CA titled in my name since purchased. I feel that given what it is, and it is virtually 98% RUST FREE, it is modestly priced. However, I am a reasonable person and I am willing to listen to a reasonable, fair offer from a serious potential buyer or Jaguar enthusiast.I can assist with NATIONWIDE and OVERSEAS shipping anywhere, at the most reasonable shipping rate available. You pay the transporter for his services directly upon delivery.
Feel free to contact me with pertinent questions or serious inquiries. Or you can call or text message me directly if preferred: *650*430*4660Please, no phone calls after 2100 PST or before 0800. I have two very small children and get up very early for work.Thank you for your consideration!
