1966 Jaguar XK Series 1 Additional Info:
"The most beautiful car in the world" was the way Enzo Ferrari described the Jaguar XKE when it was introduced in March, 1961. Even though he was a fierce Jaguar competitor both on and off the racetrack, Ferrari recognized the sheer beauty of the XKE design. One of William Lyons' design hallmarks was "Value for the money" and it is fair to say that no Jaguar ever left the Browns Lane Factory finished to the standards of this car. Subject to a fully documented rotisserie restoration by XKs Unlimited and Classic Showcase Inc., this car is absolutely stunning. In addition to a full mechanical restoration, this roadster features several mechanical and performance upgrades including a 5 speed Tremec gearbox, stainless steel exhaust, gas adjustable shocks, Wilwood brakes, and an alloy radiator with an auxiliary fan. This car is ready for a charge up California's famous Route 2 or a drive through the Hamptons on Long Island.
