For sale is my 1985 XJ Vanden Plas HE, hich is essentially an Xj6 sedan with a factory installed V12: It is sometimes referred to as a “XJ Double Six” or “XJ12”. Only 364 Vanden Plas HE’s were produced in 1985, one sold in the US, nd was imported from Germany when new by a specialty car dealership in Texas. It has only 62,000 miles, have lots of documentation to confirm this. It has a branded title and does not run.
When I bought it in 2007 I did a lot of work on it including a completely new front suspension, new transmission, ew headliner, ew gas tank, uned the motor really well and lots of other miscellaneous things. I drove it for 6 months and then was hit at an intersection. It bent the drivers fender and bumper, airly minor. I disagreed with the insurance companies decision to brand the title, nd stored it for 6 years while I sued them. Three years ago I took it out of storage and parked at my house, nd in that time all the fuel lines have split and need to be replaced. There will probably be a few other things like electrical gremlins that will surface when who ever buys it starts to work on it. Over all though it needs very little to make it an presentable daily driver, r is the perfect car if you want a very unique jaguar to fix up and show. I have put about $13,000 into the car, he 3 Piece BBS Wheels are worth $800 used on their own, f you have question 541.556.8104. I just don’t have the time to work on it and would like to see it go to a good home!
