These amazing classic Jaguars have a timeless style that transcends time and space.
A little bit of history on these special cars goes like this: The Jaguar XK150 was introduced in May 1957 in Fixed Head Coupe & Drop Head Coupe form, eplacing the XK-140 range. The Roadster version came along in March 1958. All cars used the XK-140 chassis but this time the bodywork was of a much more modern appearance & for the first time featured a one piece curved windscreen. Inside the vehicle the walnut veneer on the dashboard & door cappings had been replaced with a padded leather trim. Mechanically one of the main changes to the XK-150 were the Dunlop disc brakes which were used both front & rear, s opposed to drum brakes which were fitted to the XK-140. The engine however was from the 140, nd as before was available in standard tune, r in a higher performance version on the Special Equipment models. The Standard model had the 190 hp of the earlier car but this time for the "SE" or S as it became known, ower was up to a heady 250 hp. This was achieved mainly by a new design of cylinder head (which became known as the straight port cylinder head) & triple S.U. carburetors. Overdrive, hich had been an option, lso became standard fitment in 1958. In 1959 a 3.8 Liter engine became available with 220 hp in standard form and 265 hp in the "S" versions. In 1960, aguar upgraded their XK engine to have a displacement of 3781 cc. This was achieved by increasing the bore & offered 220 hp over the standard 190 hp 3.4 Liter. Like the previous model, n optional Special Equipment Model was available, hich used the B-Type cylinder head & twin SU HD6 carburetors. Other refinements included wire wheels, ual exhaust, amp; windscreen washers. Production of all models ended in October 1960.
This beautiful unrestored example that we are offering has obviously been meticulously cared for & maintained over the last 56 years. The original Cream color paint is still quite presentable w/ no dents or signs of damage anywhere, ut it shows its age in certain areas w/ some light scratches on the hood, nd a couple of small bubbles on the passenger rear quarter. You have to get up close to see these minor issues, ecause if you stand back 10 feet the paint looks beautiful. All of the original chrome & bright work is in outstanding condition throughout. The black canvas top appears to be new & is in simply excellent condition as well. The top functions perfectly, oing up or down w/ no issues whatsoever. The factory wire wheels w/ spinners shine bright & are absolutely beautiful, ith no signs of wear or damage whatsoever.

The seats show a little bit of wear but there are no rips or cracks in the leather. The padded dash is beautiful, amp; all of the original gauges are in working order w/ crisp faces. It appears that the carpeting has been completely replaced w/ correct materials & looks like new. Overall, s you can see by the photos, he interior is outstanding & shows beautifully!

She starts, dles, uns & performs beautifully, ith plenty of power & torque.
