This 1954 Jaguar XK120 DHC was originally delivered to Seattle in 1954 and owned by a family there until 1985. At which point, my family purchased the car and it has resided in California for the last 39 years. Garaged, driven regularly and well maintained, it runs and drives well and does not blow smoke. It has had several mechanical upgrades including : new aluminum radiator, new thermostat, hoses, rebuilt carbs, new plugs and wires, rebuilt shocks and bushings, rebuilt brakes, new radiator fan and electric auxiliary fan, fan belt, valve cover gaskets, rebuilt starter, new headlamp switch, manual electric choke, refurbished fuel tank, new sending unit, new gaskets, new fuel pump and filter, new dual exhaust system, transmission flushed and inspected, clutch assembly inspected, new battery and tender, new ignition system and coil. The tires are in good shape, although aging. As 39 year vintage car, it has some patina and retains almost 70% of it's original paint. It has been shown several times in local events and driven carefully on a few Northern California vintage rallies. The car retains it's original spare, tool kit, under bonnet equipment has been kept in as original stock condition as possible. The convertible top is in good shape and good working order.
The car is for sale "as is" and the buyer is responsible for transportation.
