PLEASE LEAVE A PHONE NUMBER SO I CAN TALK TO YOU AND DON'T HAVE TO START CHASING YOU ONCE AUCTION ENDS. LETS BE ADULTS. AUCTION CAN BE ENDED AT ANY TIME FOR SERIOUS OFFER!Up for auction is a nice 1967 International Scout 800A with rare 266V8 and 4 speed manual transmission 4x4 with 39K miles on odometer.Full YOUTUBE walkaround, startup and driving video here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9CcyCrmNH8OPTIONS:266 V8 Engine4 Speed manual Transmission4x4 Transfer case w/Dual LeversDual Gas TanksSR-2 Style StripesFull Length SOFTOPPER Vinyl TopDual ExhaustBucket Seat Interior w/Console15" Custom wheels w/NEW 33" Off-Road TiresDual Sport MirrorsHeavy Duty Custom BumpersTruck has been fairly well taken care of and was mainly used around a farm and on some hunting grounds by the previous owner as a fun vehicle, every once in a while taken to town with family. Older refurbishing done sometime during the 2000s, not sure when. Owner purchased it from a fairly well known dealership several years ago. I've done some general maintenance to it and occasionally driven it for fun.Body is fairly nice and straight with GOOD paint. It's an older single stage paintjob with added stripes as you can see. Some normal chips here and there and various imperfections. NO real rust to speak of on the outside. NO bubbles, NO holes, NO rot on outer panels, SOLID rockers on both sides. Door hinges sag a bit when opening and closing them. Looks good from about 20 feet away, and is fairly straight down the sides, so good for a driver. Will eventually need to be redone to make it a super nice truck. The Softopper full length soft top is a few year old and looks very nice, NO cuts or tears. Custom heavy duty bumpers as well.Under the hood lies a 266 V8 (believed to be the original 266 but no line ticket so I don't know for sure) with a 4 speed manual transmission with two small levers for the transfer case, one of which must be the granny gear so you could make this into a trail rig if desired. Starts right up and has been recently serviced with NEW plugs, NEW carburetor adjustment, NEW battery, NEW 33" off-road tires, NEW softopper vinyl top and a few other minor things. Idles good, goes through the gears, steers fine and is drivable. HARD TO FIND THESE EARLIER 800 TRUCKS WITH FACTORY V8s such as this one.Interior looks fairly nice as shown. Newer Bestop bucket seats (full back seat also as shown). No carpeting but NEW rubber floormats to keep the dirt away. Dash is old and has some cracks and doors have wear on inside panels with scratches and scuffs.Dash and gauges all look original from what I could see and in decent shape. Overall a driver quality interior that will need some attention down the road to make a little nicer.Underside has a ROCK SOLID frame and GOOD floors from what I could see Floors not perfect and look to have been patched at some point, but are solid currently. Body mounts appear to be in good shape. Everything has been undercoated to prevent any rust.Overall the truck is a running and driving RARE V8 Scout 800A with fairly low miles that would be a lot of fun to use as is or has great bones to restore to your liking down the road. NOT rusted to death like most of these are. That said, it is nowhere near perfect and will need quite a bit of work depending on what you plan to do to it. Not everything works so please don't expect to fly here and drive this home to California. Could use minor servicing here and there, e-brake not working, not all gauges and lights work, horn not connected, and i'm sure there are other issues here and there I can't think of right now.PLEASE, SERIOUS BIDS ONLY and do some research on values for these. LEAVE PHONE NUMBER. AUCTIONS COST TIME AND MONEY SO LETS NOT WASTE IT.
