TRAVELALL 1100 4X4

THIS TRAVELALL WAS BROUGHT TO US BY A LOCAL ENTHUSIAST WHO BOUGHT IT FOR HIS WIFE NOT TO LONG AGO. SHE DECIDED THAT IT’S TOO BIG FOR HER AND DECIDED TO SELL IT FOR SOMETHING SMALLER. ITS LAST OWNER RESIDED IN ARIZONA, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY IT’S SO SOLID…

NOT A PAINT / BODY EXPERT, BUT I’M GUESSING IT MAY HAVE BEEN ORIGINALLY GREEN LOOKING AT THE DOOR JAMS ? ITS EXTERIOR IS FINISHED IN WHITE IS SHOWING SIGNS OF OXIDATION AND AGE… NOT SURE HOW OLD THE PAINT IS ? THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE BODY IS VERY SOLI, INCLUDING FLOOR, CARGO ARE, TAILGAT, FRAM, FRAME MOUNT, ROCKER, DOOR JAMS AND FIREWALL… REAR WHEEL WELLS ARE STARTING TO RUST THROUGH. DOORS LINE UP WEL, OPEN AND CLOSE NICE AND SOLID. SAME GOES FOR HOOD AND TAILGATE. SIDE MIRRORS NEED TO BE RE-INSTALLED. GLASS IN GOOD SHAPE. TRIM AND BRIGHTWORK APPEAR TO BE ORIGINAL AND ARE IN GOOD SHAPE.

INTERIOR APPEARS TO BE ORIGINAL. ALTHOUGH VERY CLEAN, DASH PAD DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS, HEADLINER SHOWS SOME WARPING / SAGGING. SEATS ARE SHOWING SOME TEARS AND HAVE MAKESHIFT SEAT COVERS. GAUGES ARE TEMPERAMENTAL WITH BRAKE LIGHT STUCK O, NON-WORKING SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER… FACTORY AC VENTS ARE THER, BUT IT IS NOT HOOKED UP.

*BELIEVED TO BE* ORIGINAL 345ci V8. STARTS RIGHT UP AND SETTLES TO A SMOOTH IDLE ONCE WARMED UP AND CHOKE CLOSED. AC UNIT IS IN PLACE, BUT NOT HOOKED UP. SMOOTH SHIFTING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO TRY 4WD, BUT ASSUME IT WORKS ? RECENT SERVICE INCLUDES ADJUSTMENT OF THE SHIFTER CABLE AND TWO WHEEL CYLINDERS REPLACED. WHILE DRIVING IT DOES TEND TO PULL TO THE LEFT WHEN BRAKING.
