Binder Lovers, come by and check out the latest International at MotoeXotica Classic Cars. We are pleased to present this 1972 International-Harvester 1210 Travelette Crew Cab ¾-ton 4×4 Pickup

This particular example was built in International’s Springfield, Ohio factory in January 1972. Originally finished in Canyon Black, the exterior has since been covered in a scratch-resistant black urethane coating, including the cargo bed and tailgate. The paint and trim are in overall great shape. The truck’s windows and lights are in the same very good condition, clear and intact.

This truck rolls on Goodyear Wrangler MT tires, size 37X12.50R16.5LT at all four corners. Each tire surrounds an eight-lug, lightweight polished and vented alloy wheels. There is also a full-size spare tire on the driver’s side of the cargo bed. Its bodywork is straight and solid, the engine bay is extremely tidy, the cargo bed is in fine form, the battery looks good and the bumpers are in better-than-average order.

Under the hood is International’s brawny SV Comanche 392 CID V-8 engine breathing through dual exhausts that exit ahead of the rear axle. Backing up this engine is a four-speed manual transmission and a three-speed transfer case with front locking hubs. Driver convenience features include power steering and power brakes. The truck also has dual fuel tanks and Bilstein rear shock absorbers.

Inside, the truck’s brown and taupe crew cab interior comfortably seats six adults. The front and rear cloth/vinyl bench seats look great, as does the complementing brown carpeting. The contrasting light-colored headliner is in satisfactory condition. The original three-spoke steering wheel is present and looks good, the instrument panel, with its full array of gauges, is in very good order, as are the interior door panels. Completing the interior is a factory AM radio.

Documentation include the original owner’s manual and line setting ticket.

Competition to this International in 1972 included Chevrolet’s K-20 Crew Cab Pickup, Dodge’s W200 Power Wagon Crew Cab Pickup, Ford’s F-250 Crew Cab Pickup and GMC’s K2500 Bonus Cab Pickup.
