1949 IHC KB5

1949 International Harvester KB5 Additional Info:

No Reserve - We have for sale a very original International KB5. This has a 135" wheel base - so its basicallythe same wheelbase as a 1/2 ton regular cab long bed pickup. (I measured the 98 Chevy I drive). The truck came from a farm in northwest Kansas, andis rust free, besides the obvious surface rust. The grill is complete and looks very nice, and the body is overall very straight. There are, however, a couple of dents in the roof that should be very easy to pop out. Someone has replaced the passenger door, 20 plus years ago by the appearance. I took the seat out to show the entire floor, and because it needs reupholstered anyway, the seat is original and the slides work, just a little stiff. The engine turns by hand, and I was told it ran when parked approx. 15 years ago, I have not tried to start it. What is left of the paint looks pretty unique, you can see the brush strokes where someone painted it years ago. I know its almost a cliché now, but this would make a really cool rat rod.
